Not exactly. This tool extracts the real, editable text from your PDF and rebuilds it as Word paragraphs with the original page breaks — that text is fully editable. Complex layouts, multi-column text, tables and embedded images are not recreated, so the result is closer to "your words, editable" than a pixel-perfect visual copy.

A scanned PDF is just a photo of a page with no real text behind it, so there's nothing to extract — that requires OCR (optical character recognition), which this converter does not perform. This works on PDFs that already contain real, selectable text, such as ones exported from Word, Google Docs, or a webpage.
